This independently owned, 3 diamond full service hotel is conveniently located in Monterey across from our Del Monte Shopping Center and just a few minutes drive from downtown Monterey and a 7 minutes drive from downtown Carmel. Each room is quite spacious with a warm wooden decor and nice touches like fresh plants in each room, large 27" remote control televisions, and in-room coffee makers and mini refrigerators. The hotel has a large hot tub (open year around) and a large heated outdoor swimming pool (not heated in Winter). They also have a restaurant with what we feel is the best salad bar in town and a very nice lounge.

Review: "Independently owned places like this are a real find. The manager and reservations manager have been there together for over 10 years as has much of the staff. It is not as flashy as a Hyatt, Hilton or Marriott Hotel, but the price is also a lot less expensive. Rooms are a good size and they do have a nice restaurant, "locals" bar, pool, whirlpool and fitness center. Just about a 3 minutes drive from downtown and right across from a large shopping center with new theater complex, Macy's etc.. Lots of repeat customers."
