Review: "This is one of the top rated hotels in the country and for good reason. The main part of the hotel is actually built up on stilts over the Monterey Bay. The ocean is definitely the theme with a gorgeous 4-star ocean view restaurant, ocean view outdoor bistro, ocean view plaza's...The rooms were recently completely remodeled even though most people thought it was already in great shape. You can walk to a beach and large park in about 3 minutes and to the Aquarium in about 5 minutes."
