Located near the Monterey Conference Center and within a 3 minutes walk to Fisherman's Wharf, this four-diamond hotel has a Spanish adobe exterior and is regarded as one of the finest hotels in our area. Each room is a junior suite with a fireplace, bedroom, sitting area and dining table all in a southwestern decor. Extras include a goose down featherbed, comforter and pillow, hardwood floors, TV with DVDs and a wet bar. Rooms have a private patio or terrace. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered, as well as a tea and cheese reception in the afternoon. There are 3 separate garden style courtyards and two of those have outdoor Jacuzzi tubs. Hotel has a $15 per night underground parking fee.

Review: "Neat all junior suite hotel right in downtown. Looks like a Spanish style hacienda from the outside. Great place if you like to have some room to spread out with a living room area with couch, chairs and a fireplace. Not like a typical hotel -- a bit more laid back with several garden courtyards tucked away with large fountains."
